QUEEN'S CRAINE BUILDING

Queen's University, Kingston, Ontario

2018

Architect: multiArchitecture

Client: Queen's University

Kris Vassilev's Scope of Work:

Full architectural services

This project provides new offices for the Queen's University's Psychology Department located in the Craine Building. Completed in 1938, this building was the first of many at Queen's to implement a buff-coloured Queenston limestone instead of the usual grey Kingston limestone. Teknion modular partitions and all-glass sliding doors were designed to address specific client requirements. Scope includes also interior finishes, barrier-free upgrades, as well as electrical and mechanical systems alteration.
